At this time we accept private pay through a debit or credit card through a secure, online, platform.

Sessions are scheduled weekly unless otherwise specified. Unless otherwise agreed your session will be on the same day and at the same time each week.
-
If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged a $100 fee. Paying for a missed session because you are ill or you got stuck in traffic etc may seem unfair. However, in order to provide this service I allocate clients a particular day and time. That is then your time I hold for you. I balance my work load on the understanding that you will attend sessions. If non-attendance becomes a regular occurrence we will discuss what is going on for you and why you are missing sessions.
-
Everything that is discussed during our sessions remains confidential between us. I maintain confidentiality in accordance with the NASW code of ethics.
-
I retain the right, and I am ethically bound, to break confidentiality without prior consultation should I consider the urgency of the situation requires me to act immediately to safeguard the physical safety of yourself or others. I would first attempt to discuss with you my decision to break confidentiality however this may not always be possible. Depending on the circumstances I may need to contact your Doctor, a social worker, police or other emergency services.

I am often asked this question and there is no definitive answer. It depends entirely on the individual and there is no right or wrong amount of time. I work with clients that come for a few sessions through to clients that I have been working with for 3-4 years. What you want and get from therapy changes over time and as long as you still feel you are gaining from the sessions why wouldn't you continue doing this amazing thing for yourself.
-
When you feel it is the right time to finish please let me know during our session so we can work towards the ending. Or if you feel that therapy is not right for you right now, or I’m not the right therapist for you then I would encourage you to let me know and that we work towards ending. For some I know this might be difficult however there is a lot to be learnt about ourselves by how we end things and this is why such importance is placed on endings in therapy.
Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and down-to-earth. I’m not here to “fix” you — I’m here to help you understand yourself more deeply and move toward a version of life that feels more peaceful and authentic. But more than anything, I meet you where you are. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, burnout, trauma, relationship struggles, or just the weight of being a person — you’ll be welcomed without judgment.
I believe your story matters, even the chapters you’ve been afraid to revisit.
I believe the parts of you that feel “too much” or “not enough” are worth listening to.
I believe healing looks different for everyone — and we’ll figure out what it means for you, together.
In our sessions, you can expect transparency, warmth, and a real connection — not just nodding and note-taking. We'll explore patterns, unpack stuck points, and build something meaningful from the hard stuff. The name Bloodstone Therapy was chosen with intention.
Bloodstone is a dark green crystal flecked with red — historically known as a stone of courage, healing, and transformation. It was once believed to stop bleeding and cleanse wounds, both literal and emotional. I chose it because it reflects the heart of the therapeutic process: going into the places that hurt, the places we’ve hidden, and bringing light, truth, and care to what’s been long ignored.
Therapy isn’t always pretty — but it is powerful. Like the stone, it holds paradox: darkness and life force, grit and grace, pain and strength. Bloodstone reminds us that healing doesn’t mean erasing what’s happened. It means honoring it, integrating it, and moving forward whole.
“Let’s shine a light into the shadow and see what’s waiting to be healed.”
